My original website which ends with co.uk & now completely defunct has illegally been hijacked by a company / source for their own purposes! This old site has zero authorisation by me Jill Swarbrick-Banks & its content should not in any way be considered as authentic as representing me and my ouevre. The original site was built in the Naughties by myself and the wonderful Steve Fairhead of FIVETREES web services. Approx: 40 x 40 cm . Now in a private collection in Groningen, The Netherlands. The title Cân Serch is Welsh for 'song of love'. I was developing work based on Graham Sutherland's abstracted landscapes of Wales and used silver leaf for the first time. I expect that it has tarnished to black now! I should have used gold leaf but being an impoverished Art Student at the time...
