Boom & Bust

A few years ago..., my husband Dave and I enjoyed the company of friends Michael and Tina Burnham for an evening of good conversation and our usual curry!

 I had been minded to try and create a "Caravaggio" genre painting for a while. It was meant ultimately for an art competition.

Mike and Dave became engrossed in deep conversation as this particular night wore on and much wine was imbibed.  I  recorded them on camera as they discussed violins and possible lucrative projects. 

The painting is full of symbolism purposely included for the viewer to work out! My lips are sealed. 

The painting resides in the private collection of the Burnham Family.
